Local / external call for tenders for the second time

Rakka sugar company announces its willing  to call for  local /external  tender by sealed  envlopes  for Supplying :8450 L of strong base  cation exchanger  . 8450L strong  base anion exchanger  and 38 tons cation exchanger resins  of     acc. to specifications which is  specified in  the  special technical book of the said tender.

Who intends to participate in this tender should submit his  offer according to regulative decree  N. 51 of year 2004 and legislative  decree no. 450  of year 2004. offers to be hand over directly  or by registered mail to:

-                     Offers to be  put in two  sealed and stamped envelopes:

-First  envelope   : contains the supporting documents ,  bid bond and adeclaration      

                                adhering with the conditions of the technical book , finanacial   

                                stamp of 1000 S.P to be sticked on the declaration .

-Second envelope :   contains financial offer  detailed as follows :-unit price and total      

                                  price (  for external bidder : delivery (  FOB   + C.F.R. )                                 

                                 for local   bidder :delivery on site .

 The  two envelopes to be put in third  large one  sealed and labeled with tender subject, bidder,s name, address , and closing date.

1-Bid bond: for external bidders:Euro /  2000 euro  in form of bank guarantee issued by

                       Syrian bank

                      for local bidders : S.P. 150 000 , cash, cheque  or bank guarantee issued by

                                                     Syrian bank 

2-Performance bond : 10% of the total value of the contract  to be paid after  assigned

                                       the tender.

3-tenderer to adhere with his offer for a period  of 30 days from disclosing date.

4- Delivery time : 60   days  from commencing date.                           

5-Delay penalty: 0.001  per each  delay day.

6-All duties taxes resulting from contracting  plus Advrt. cost and  stamps  cost on two  

        copies of the contract all will be on tender charge.tenderer to specify chosen  

        domicile in Syria.

7- It is stipulated that the  bidder should  nominate a commercial agent in Syria,  that in      

     accordance with the provisions of the legislative decree Nr. 15 for the year 2001 , this   

     to be done before contract signing . 

8-Technical  book can be obtained  from: commercial department of Rakka company,                          

      against payment:Euro 10  for external tenderers,

9- Law no. 51 of year 2004 and decree no. 450 of year 2004 will be  considered the basis    

     for contracting process.

10- Deadline           : Monday     16.3.2009  at end of official working hours .  

11-Disclosing date :   Tuesday   17.3.2009  at 10 h. opened meeeting , preferable   

                                                                          to  attended by the tenderers or their agents
